Steps to obtaining your Missouri Real Estate License by 
INTERNET HOME-STUDY:

1. Go to the bottom of the page, click the link and complete the sign-up process. 

2. Work through the course. You have 3 months to complete the course. 

3. You must pass the on-line final exam. 
THERE ARE NO CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE THIS COURSE. 

4. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. 

5. After completing the course, you will be prepared to sit for the real estate exam. 
The exam is given at a computer testing facility. These facilities are located in Kansas City, 
Jefferson City, Springfield, and St. Louis. We provide you a candidate handbook with all the 
information on scheduling your exam appointment. 

6. The salesperson exam consists of 140 questions. 100 national questions and 40 questions 
covering the state information. You must attain at least a 75% on both sections to pass the exam. 

7.  You must take and complete the 24 hour Missouri Real Estate Practice Course.  You may 
take this course before or after your state exams, but must be taken after completion and 
receiving your certificate for the 48 hour course.  We recommend you pass your state exams
before beginning the 24 hour course. 

8. You will need both certificates of completion you receive from these courses and your passing test 
results to apply for your license. You must apply for your license within six months of receiving 
your school completion certificate for the 48 hour Pre-License Course.
